Annual Texas Rain Catcher Award
The Texas Water Development Board is pleased to announce that Rainwater Systems, Inc. of Kerrville, Texas has been selected as the winner of the 2010 Texas Rain Catcher Award, in the Non-Profit category, for the rainwater installation at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Kerrville, Texas.
Family collects 12,000 gal of rainwater
FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (KXAN) - When the clouds dumped four inches of rain on the Fredericksburg area two weeks ago, most found relief from the parched conditions they had experienced in the two-year drought. For a local doctor and his family of five though, the weather event was just a drop in the bucket.

The Great Rain Harvest
Barry Wall, put a system in a house near Kerrville that was built from the ground up with conservation and the environment in mind. “This is one of my favorite projects,” said Wall, owner of Texas Rainwater Systems. “I’m proud of it, and the Ertels (the homeowners) are proud of it.”
